Ranch Trip (Picture Overload!)

We just got back from taking the girls to see my other grandparents in Northern California. They are 86, and they can't travel comfortably anymore so we took the trip so they could meet Charlotte and see Gracie. They live on a ranch that I grew up visiting and always had so much fun. It is one of my favorite places in the world...and I think Gracie loved it too! This is the first time she has been able to "do stuff"
On a walk...

Playing with Walter

The ranch has buildings that used to be workers' houses way back when...obviously one could not live in them now!

The big barn

My cousins and I spent hours climbing that hay when we were young!

This was a favorite...and though it's a little dusty it still works!

"Great" with Charlotte

Reading Gracie a bedtime story

We visited a couple of my mom's friends from high school...Anne used to live down here and moved back up there so it was great to see her again!

Sandi has three grandkids and her house had lots of toys for Gracie to play with!

Taking the girls to see Auntie at the cemetery...Gracie "showed her" Rapunzel

Watching "Great-Pa" feed the dogs

Gracie loves her Great

Charlotte with the original Charlotte "Granny" Timmons

Rapunzel hitched a ride on our walk

A great view of the ranch

She decided to re-arrange a couple pots of flowers!

Bundled up for a morning walk

"Freckles" the horse

"Twinkle Toes" the goat

Family picture!

The way home...getting creative

Gracie was so good in the car with no electronics...just books, trail mix in a bucket, dolls, magnet boards, and music!

We had a great trip...7 hours up and 8 hours back and lots of memories!
