Elmo

Awhile back my mom had a crazy gourd idea. Well, not crazy, just a big task. She is super creative with her gourds and when Gracie was two and her favorite show was Bubble Guppies, my mom made her a "Deema" :

Charlotte LOVES Elmo and my mom had the idea to do an Elmo gourd for her.  She waited for the perfect shaped gourds (one for the head, one for the body, and one for his nose) then went in search for what to use for his distinct round eyes (the answer was ping ping balls!) and then for the perfect "fur". 

Well...Elmo arrived this afternoon in a box and Charlotte is in love. One problem. This elmo is a decoration and is very fragile. She was finally okay with giving him back after I showed her I would put him on her bookshelf where she could see him every day (plus, his fur is a little messy!)
