A couple days before Mother's Day my mom flew up to spend a few days with us and see the new house. She took us to lunch and then to see "Home" before we headed back up the hill to the house. The next day Gracie had school and then we went to the nursery and my mom treated me to all kinds of flowers and plants...one being a small Japanese Maple- Tim's favorite! She planted and planted. Saturday Joanne and Mike came over and then we went into St. Helens to look in some shops and get a snack. Sadly we didn't realize everything closes early and we only made it to one consignment store to browse and then ended up at a restaurant for a treat. Before heading home my mom, the girls and I walked around town.
On Mother's Day my mom stayed and rested a little while Tim and the girls took me to Starbucks.
Tim had the girls make me these beautiful pieces of art! They are handprints in a pot to be flowers. I love them
My mom took the girls and me to Bridgewater Bistro in Astoria. It was amazing, perfect, and delicious!
